The diploma thesis Theatrical Music for Percussion in the Context of Instrumental Theatre (2021) examines new music theatre from the percussionist\u2019s perspective. It characterises this phenomenon and outlines the movements, figures, and institutions that influenced the development of experimental music theatre. The thesis also introduces several composers who have devoted their work to this genre. Finally, it analyses selected theatrical percussion pieces, such as Le corps \u00e0 corps by Georges Aperghis and Bad Touch by Casey Cangelosi. The full Czech version of the text is available here.
